Eye Care & You Webinars

We host monthly webinars called ‘Eye Care & You’. These webinars have been developed to provide up-to-date information and the latest professional advice on taking care of your eyesight and eye health. They are also an opportunity to ask questions in a friendly, supportive environment from the comfort of your own home.

The webinars cover a range of topics, led by a different eye care specialist or professional each month. They are not only for those living with a vision impairment, but also for those who may be at risk of developing sight loss, as well as family members, colleagues, or professionals who want to learn and develop awareness.

The 24^th webinar will focus on fraud awareness for blind and partially sighted people. We will cover areas such as crypto-currency, current via social media, financial scams and how you can identify and report these crimes.

Find out how to learn about calls, emails, WhatsApp and text messages which maybe fraudulent, and what to do if you fall victim of a scam.

We will share tips on how to secure your social media accounts to avoid being hacked, and how to safely verify someone knocking at your door.

Our expert speaker can answer any questions you may have on the day.
