Research and evidenced priority needs and aspirations of blind and partially sighted people are at the heart of our work.

We still fund certain research around our priority areas however, in line with our new strategy, we are no longer commissioning and managing new research ourselves.

Our useful guides area is open to all sight loss sector professionals and identifies barriers and opportunities in areas such as employment, education, engagement, independent living and technology.

It contains evidence, key information and guidance for policymakers, service planners and professionals to help inform and influence at a local and national level.
