If you are blind or partially sighted, over the age of 18 and want to boost your confidence, improve your tech skills, and feel ready for the world of work, our Working Well with Sight Loss residential course could be the next step you need.

Where: Thomas Pocklington Trust, Pocklington Hub, 3 Queen Square, London, WC1N 3AR

Accommodation: President Hotel, 56-60 Guildford Street, London WC1N 1DB

Environment: Fun, relaxed, and supportive, valuing the experiences of blind or partially sighted individuals.

What to Expect: Over three days in London, you will work in small groups with others who understand the challenges of sight loss, learning to:

  • Master technology that makes job searching and working easier
  • Write stronger applications and search for jobs effectively
  • Tackle interviews with confidence and manage nerves.
  • Explore what is new in assistive technology and how it could help you in your role
  • Make friends and have fun!
