Rodney Powell Awards Nominations Open on 7 January 2025!

Hold onto your hats, folks! The Rodney Powell Awards are back, and nominations open on 7 January 2025. This is your chance to celebrate our amazing volunteers who are making a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people across the UK.

We are rolling out the red carpet for a new category: Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering: Student Voice. This award highlights the amazing impact of our Student Voice volunteers.

The award categories for 2025 are:
• Volunteer of the Year
• Volunteering Team of the Year
• Campaign of the Year
• Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering: Student Voice (NEW FOR 2025)
• Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering

Nominations are open until midnight on 9 February 2025. Do not miss out! Shortlisted nominees will be announced on 10 March, with the runners-up and overall winners announced at the Sight Loss Councils Conference held from 9-11 May 2025.
