For the first time, we are also publishing our Key Life Chances Impact Report, showcasing the real-world difference we’ve made to blind and partially sighted people across the UK.

This year marks the first full year of delivering our Key Life Chances strategy, and the results speak for themselves. From expanding education support and securing employment for dozens of job seekers, to influencing national health policy and improving transport accessibility, our work is driving change where it matters most.

Highlights from the Impact Report include:

  • Over 350 people supported through our Works For Me employment programme, with 58 securing jobs.
  • 85% of Get Set Progress interns transitioned into full-time roles.
  • Our campaigns, including #MakeHealthAccessible and Cut It Back, reached thousands and influenced policy.
  • Sight Loss Councils expanded to 25 in number, including two in Scotland.
  • We co-hosted the sector’s first Lived Experience Leadership conference, setting a new standard for inclusion.

We’re grateful to our staff, volunteers, sector and corporate partners for helping us deliver meaningful impact. Together, we’re improving life chances and building a more inclusive society.
