Support in Education Guides

Throughout your child’s education journey there are different types of support available to help them access their learning. The following guides cover key topics for blind or partially sighted students who are aged 0 to 25 and are in primary or secondary school, college or sixth form. They aim to answer questions such as “What support can you expect from a school or college?”, “Would an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) be the right choice?” or “What to do if you’re not getting the support needed?”

These guides are aimed at parents or carers of a child or young person, however if you are a student and would like to know more information about what support you can expect then this information should be a useful guide for you too!
